First off, I made a ZOMBIE VIDEO! It’s the first thing I’ve ever written, directed, and produced.
Although uncertainty and trepidation are tagging along behind me, I hope to continue to be led by my desire for creativity and inspiration.
As you can see, I have an eclectic taste in what I find touching and amusing, but I hope somewhere in the array of what I share, you’ll find something that you like.
Welcome to my little corner of the world. I hope you’ll stay a while and share this new journey with me.

Although these photos were taken near my home, I find the Columbia lily to be both unique and exotic-looking. Their bulbs were sometimes used as a food source by Native Americans.

I’m just going to put this here, because 1. I worked very hard to make this 2 years ago when Harry Potter and the first Planet of the Apes was released. and 2. Because I just saw Dawn of the Apes and it made me think of this silly thing. 3. If I wasn’t so lazy, I’d update this picture with the ape now holding a gun.
Would you believe I had actually bought BBQ pellets, pierogies, waffle fries, lasagna, shrimp and a diet soda?
Do you ever have one of those moments where you want to serenade your dog with her own theme song?
With all the creative people surrounding me, I thought I’d share the sewing project I finished before Christmas.
Since hubby and I were surprising our daughter and my mom with a 7-day Caribbean Cruise, I wanted to make us girls a souvenir to remember such an amazing adventure. Each fabric represented each of us; My mom loves watery blue colors, my daughter loves her zebra and me with my purple. I then cut out three purse patterns and mixed and matched each piece so our colors would be together, but not the same. I also decided to go off script a little and make my own design for the purse straps.
Even though I never had time to add the inner buttons or add an anchor patch, I do feel pretty happy with my results. This was my third project with my new sewing machine and it was a pretty ambitious one at that. Come to think of it, it might even be considered my 3rd, 4th and 5th!
