1. My love/hate for the Twilight series is almost at an end. I read all the books and watched all the movies. There is an all-day marathon on Thursday for the final movie. I’m thinking of doing it, mostly because there’s rarely a chance to do an all-day movie marathon and that’s almost incentive enough. Anyone want to come join me?
2. My husband left work early to possibly buy a brand new Jeep. He’s both excited and anxious about having to spend so much on a vehicle, but he’s had his other car for about 12 years so I think it’s time he gets something nice for himself. Since they don’t have what he wants on the lot, he’s going to put something on order to pick up in a few weeks. That is, if they go down $3k from what they asked before.
3. BooBoo had her eye surgery last week. Since her ulcerated cornea isn’t healing fast enough, they sliced grids into her right eye to help encourage more blood flow to the area. She also has always had this weird extra eyelid in her left eye that I think bothers her, so they were going to remove it. Instead, once they got her under sedation they found that it was just caught up on some cartilage, so he tucked it back behind and did a little suture. They also did a deep teeth cleaning while she was out, since it was due. Needless to say she’s looking pretty squinty and pathetic, but I think she’s already doing better. She just hates having to wear the cone of shame all the time.
4. My dizzyness hasn’t gone away yet, but it’s not as bad as it used to be so I’m torn if I want to go see a doc about it. If I did, it would probably mean having to first go to my regular doctor who then will send me to the ear, nose and throat specialist who will then send me to the physical therapist. It’s a pain in the ass to have to go through all those hoops, so right now the dizziness is more bearable. Besides, if John buys his Jeep, I feel more conscious about how much money to spend, which brings me full circle in my Tidbit Tuesday.
I’m serious about looking for a movie marathon partner for Thursday. I think the movies start at 10:30 am and end at 2:30 am or whenever the new one ends. My husband will join me after he gets off of work that day, but if no one joins me during the day, I may have to liveblog the experience as if I was doing a daily journal on a deserted island.
